Senior Engineer, Cilium CNI & Cloud Networking

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate the Cilium-based CNI for CoreWeave's Kubernetes.
• Evolve the CNI stack for large, high-density GPU clusters.
• Collaborate with Kubernetes, Infra, and Network Services for availability and security.
• Own architecture, implementation, and operations from prototype to production.
• Help shape how the networking platform scales for future growth.
• Operate Kubernetes at scale and improve observability.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software, systems, or network engineering for cloud infra.
• Hands-on production experience with Cilium CNI (or similar CNIs).
• Strong understanding of Cilium's eBPF datapath, policy, and load balancing.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT, ingress/egress.
• Experience designing multi-tenant networks with strong isolation.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (Go, Python, or C/C++).
