Senior Engineer, Autonomy ML Systems

📋 Description

• Define and validate metrics for autonomy subsystems (perception, prediction, planning).
• Assess training/testing coverage; curate test sets for deployment domain.
• Evaluate ML model performance against metrics and tests.
• Analyze large-scale data to assess subsystem and system performance in on-road and simulation.
• Define performance requirements for autonomy subsystems and required analyses.
• Coordinate subsystem-level evaluation with system-level testing for the safety case.

🎯 Requirements

• Cross-functional collaboration with self-starting mindset.
• 5+ years in safety-critical systems or robotics.
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with significant relevant experience.
• Skilled Python developer; able to analyze large-scale data for ML training/testing.
• Experience designing metrics capturing key system behavior to improve models.
• C++ knowledge applied to safety-critical systems.
