Senior Embedded Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Write performance edge software to acquire, process, and stream radiograph data
• Develop appliance firmware for tight control loops on scanner peripherals
• Participate in code reviews, build testing infra, and raise development standards
• Ship production-critical Linux-based applications
• Architect data acquisition solutions balancing configurability and customization
• Collaborate with product, research, hardware, and software teams to design solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years writing low-level, high-performance software in Python and C
• 3+ years shipping apps with embedded Linux (udev, systemd, kernel schedulers)
• 3+ years startup experience – trade-offs between shipping fast and perfecting design
• Firmware experience with STM32 microcontrollers or equivalent
• OTA updates for edge/IoT devices with fleet status and monitoring
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
