Senior Electronics & Avionics Engineer

📋 Description

• Own avionics development for a constellation-ready spacecraft bus.
• Lead end-to-end hardware development: make/buy/reuse through flight delivery.
• Schedule-critical contributor; manage multiple avionics boxes on tight timelines.
• Drive prototype-to-production transition; design boards for high-rate manufacturing.
• Interface with Haven-1 avionics team for cross-program alignment.
• Use in-house, heritage, and COTS components to build avionics.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years electronics or avionics design in aerospace/defense.
• 3+ years owning hardware development programs end-to-end.
• Designed and delivered space-qualified avionics boxes through full lifecycle.
• Strong PCBA design skills—schematic, layout, component selection for IPC Class 3.
• Experience with radiation testing and rad-hard design approaches.
