Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and test Terran R stage separation, payload deployment, and landing gear.
• Collaborate with structures, avionics, and fluids teams; leverage additive processes.
• Own full design cycle: concept, trade studies, design, analysis, and testing.
• Deliver on time and budget; integrate subsystems into the primary structure.
• Hands-on hardware ownership and testing on the factory floor.
• Refine for manufacturability and speed across designs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in full-cycle design engineering (CAD, analysis, build, test).
• Knowledge of kinematic synthesis, pneumatic/hydraulic actuation, mechatronics, instrumentation.
• Knowledge of structures strength, stability, fatigue failure modes.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, surface treatments.
• Proven problem-solving and hands-on hardware build experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead technical discussions.
