Senior Electrical Systems Specialist (Data Center Reliability)

📋 Description

• Define and maintain a domain-accurate electrical ontology for data centers.
• Interpret telemetry from sensors, smart meters, and facility systems to spot early degradation.
• Specify, constrain, and validate analytical approaches to detect anomalies in power, voltage, load, and UPS.
• Design automated detection and alerting logic that mirrors experienced operators.
• Perform post-incident analysis by correlating signals to determine root causes.
• Collaborate with customers and product teams to translate insights into actionable guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years operating or monitoring data center electrical power systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of data center power systems: quality, redundancy, harmonics, fault detection.
• Experience interpreting telemetry and translating data into product requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex electrical behavior to technical and non-domain stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify recurring patterns and drive durable improvements.
