Senior Electrical Engineer, Test Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy electrical test equipment for battery testing.
• Develop test systems from benchtop to automated machines.
• Tune control loops for airflow, fluids, and high-power systems.
• Select sensors, fans, and actuators for new battery control versions.
• Collaborate with design and test ops to define infrastructure needs.
• Document test system designs and validation procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in electrical design and/or test equipment development.
• BS or MS in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with eCAD tools for PCB, control panels, and harnesses.
• Proficiency with mCAD tools for fixture designs.
• Familiarity with PLC or microcontroller-based control systems, including core code.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, power electronics, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Strong safety and compliance understanding in high-power and/or chemical environments.
