Senior Director Developer Platform and Experiences

📋 Description

• Lead internal and external developer platform and experiences for 2,000+ engineers and builders.
• Define SDLC, ecosystem, and platform strategy leveraging AI, automation, and intelligent systems.
• Partner with ELT, Architecture, Security, Product, and Infrastructure to shape enterprise tech strategy.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering workflows, copilots, autonomous systems, and delivery patterns.
• Build and scale secure, extensible platforms to improve velocity, reliability, and satisfaction.
• Stay connected to architecture; hands-on coding, prototyping, and technical experimentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations and platform teams in high-growth or enterprise environments.
• Strong technical depth in developer platforms, cloud-native systems, infrastructure, software delivery, and engineering productivity.
• Demonstrated experience driving organization-wide transformation initiatives and platform modernization efforts.
• Experience building or scaling developer ecosystems, internal platforms, developer tooling, or self-service capabilities.
• Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices, CI/CD, platform engineering, developer experience, and reliability engineering.
• Experience with AI, ML platforms, developer copilots, Agentic systems, or automation frameworks is strongly preferred.
