Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer (GCP)

📋 Description

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for internal and cloud platforms
• Drive improvements of developer productivity towards self-service platform engineering
• Automate and optimise deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance performance, reliability, and security.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation and experimentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Capco’s growing DevOps community.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in platform engineering agnostic practises
• Experience with developer productivity and platform engineering improvements with large scale data platform
• Experience with public cloud and ideally GCP
• Expertise in containerisation (Docker) and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with scripting (Python, Groovy) to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI, or GoCD
