• MySQL administration, management and engineering.

• Lead automation and self-service tooling to boost developer velocity.
\n
• Prevent data loss with replication technologies and backups.
\n
• Improve MySQL management toolset and processes.
\n
• Implement and improve distributed DB architecture in Postgres and MySQL.
\n
• On-call rotation to resolve critical issues and reduce toil.
\n

🎯 Requirements

\n
• Database administration with MySQL; other RDBs and KV stores are valued.
\n
• Production-scale experience; improve availability and performance.
\n
• Scripting: Python (plus Bash/Ruby/Perl).
\n
• Experience with configuration management such as Puppet, Chef or Salt (Salt).
\n
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
\n
• Cloud experience with GCP and/or AWS.
\n
