Senior Data Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Own data platform infrastructure end-to-end: security, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate on data tooling, pipelines, and governance; build easy interfaces.
• Left-shift alerting to catch and quarantine data-source failures at the source.
• Analyze data generation, modeling, and consumption; partner on new sources.
• Own existing tools and workflows; raise production-grade quality with docs.
• Document runbooks, ADRs, and system docs for institutional knowledge.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in data infrastructure or platform engineering; SQL, Python, Terraform.
• 4+ years with modern data stacks: BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift; orchestration and IaC.
• 2+ years building/maintaining production data pipelines (ELT, streaming).
• Proven ability to turn scrappy data infra into production-grade systems with docs.
• Bias toward action; ship incrementally and own outcomes.
• Own end-to-end problems; design approaches with minimal mentorship.
