Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Build, automate, and manage near-real-time data ingestion pipelines for MDM and analytics.
• Build and maintain cloud-native big data environments on AWS using SQL, NoSQL, and NewSQL.
• Lead data governance and profiling to ensure data quality and metadata.
• Design ETL processes with Spark, Python, and SQL in AWS.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI, and Product to design data models.
• Define SLAs for data availability and monitor delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in ETL development: PLSQL, SQL, Python; create data transformations.
• Experience with AWS data services: S3, Glue, Data Catalog, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum, Athena.
• Relational DB skills: Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server; design and optimization.
• Data governance, data quality, metadata, and security best practices.
• CI/CD, unit testing, performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring.
