Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and improve Azure cloud security architecture.
• Threat modeling, security design reviews, risk assessments.
• Enforce SOC 2 Type 2, NYDFS 500, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA; audit readiness.
• Administer security tooling: Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Proofpoint.
• Embed security into SDLC, CI/CD, and cloud infra with Eng/DevOps.
• Define guardrails for AI/LLM tooling: data classification, prompt risks, vendor AI policies.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years cybersecurity; 2+ in cloud security or security operations.
• Azure-native security services: Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Proofpoint.
• Experience with SOC 2, GLBA, NYDFS 500, CCPA/CPRA.
• Threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, secure design principles.
• Cloud-native security patterns with Eng/DevOps; secure SDLC, CI/CD.
• IAM/CIAM platforms (Entra ID, Auth0) and third-party vendor security reviews.
