📋 Description

• Support Airbnb’s new lines of business; advise on global regulatory issues.
• Counsel product, operations, design and engineering on compliance.
• Lead consensus across privacy, consumer protection, liability, and competition.
• Collaborate with global legal counterparts to ensure consistent advice.
• Draft risk analyses, disclosures, terms of use and policies; manage outside counsel.
• Operate with self-sufficiency in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

🎯 Requirements

• JD with 9-12 years in law firms, government, or in-house.
• In-house product-counseling experience at a multinational consumer tech co preferred.
• Barred in a US state (CA preferred) or eligible for CA in-house counsel.
• Knowledge of privacy and consumer laws (GDPR/CCPA/CPRA), DMCA, CDA 230.
• Pragmatic, proactive team player; comfortable with change, ambiguity, risk.
• Rigorous analytical skills; distill complex legal advice clearly.
• Proven ability to work with senior partners; travel-friendly; ethical.
