- Drive Oyster's global privacy program and AI roadmaps aligned to business goals.
- Advise on EU data protection regs: transfers, ROPA, retention, governance.
- Lead AI governance efforts: EU AI Act readiness, risk management, oversight.
- Partner with Product/Engineering to embed privacy-by-design and responsible AI.
- Draft and negotiate DPAs, SCCs, and AI terms with customers and vendors.
- Oversee operational processes: DPIAs/PIAs, DSARs, retention, and access controls.
🎯 Requirements
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent; licensed attorney in the EU.
- Deep expertise in EU data protection regimes; DPIAs, TIAs, ROPAs, DSARs.
- Experience operationalizing AI governance (EU AI Act readiness).
- Ability to build scalable privacy/AI playbooks and processes.
- Strong commercial acumen; negotiate privacy/AI terms and SCCs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; async collaboration across time zones.
