Senior Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead the legal function across commercial, product, corporate, and people matters
• Draft, negotiate, and manage all commercial agreements (partnerships, customer, vendor, DPAs)
• Partner with Product/Engineering to provide risk-calibrated guidance for features and expansion
• Manage corporate governance, equity matters, and board-related legal work
• Handle people-related legal matters (employment agreements, policies, compliance)
• Build legal infrastructure: templates, playbooks, self-serve resources; manage external counsel

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years of legal experience post-law school with a mix of law firm and in-house
• Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills — can build contracts from scratch
• Experience serving as product counsel, partnering with Product/Engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to provide risk-calibrated advice that enables product development
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous regulatory environments
• Experience at a high-growth technology company
