Senior Cost Accountant

📋 Description

• Support inventory and cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Assist monthly close, cost variance analyses, and reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and basic variances.
• Support period-end close for timely completion.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly reports.
• Coordinate physical inventories with warehouse and auditors.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of directly related experience.
• 3-5 years’ industry or audit experience in inventory operations and cost accounting.
• Knowledge of standard cost model, absorption costing, variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (Aptean Ross) and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
• Life sciences/biotech or manufacturing experience.
• SOX 404 public accounting or industry experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and team orientation.
