Senior Controls Engineer, SCADA

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy SCADA and MES for Form Energy equipment.
• Lead SCADA projects with Automation, Robotics & Vision teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior SCADA engineers and guidance.
• Troubleshoot SCADA/HMI/MES for downtime and safety; support production ops.
• Coordinate with vendors for FATs at vendor sites and SATs at Form Factory 1.
• Rotate on-call for off-hour escalations.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years designing and troubleshooting industrial control systems in high-volume manufacturing.
• 6+ years SCADA/HMI with Ignition Perspective, Siemens WinCC, or Rockwell FTView.
• Advanced PLC skills in Siemens TIA-Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
• ProfiSafe and CIP Safety functional safety experience.
• Reading schematics; data tools like iba or Octoplant for analysis.
• Vision systems/barcode scanners integration (Keyence, Cognex).
• Excellent technical communication and pragmatic problem solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
