Senior Consulting Engineer - APJ

📋 Description

• Project Engineering & Consulting: design, architecture, integration, and docs on customer projects.
• Consultative Support: assist strategic users with onboarding, deployments, and POCs.
• Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance, including hands-on tasks.
• Support Team: handle L1-L3 cases and communications when not on projects.
• Partner with PM, Eng, and Sales to influence roadmap and account plans.
• Develop content: docs, knowledge base, reference architectures, blogs, and benchmarks.
• Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members.
• On-call support; 24x7 coverage with up to 35% onsite travel.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in professional services, support, or related roles.
• 5+ years in implementing/operating distributed DBMS.
• Broad tech: DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, big data.
• Led and shipped large technical projects with multiple engineers.
• Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure and their IaaS (EC2).
• Bonus: Experience with ClickHouse.
• Bonus: OSS/open-source experience.
• Bonus: Data pipelines like Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, RabbitMQ.
