Develop models to extend voice support to languages other than English.
Design and implement language support for new Roku features and functionality.
Collect and analyze spoken and written language data to improve our models, capturing a wide variety of expressions in rule-based or machine-learned systems.
Maintain existing systems, recognizing issues and applying the right tools to debug and solve problems.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Linguistics/CS/CE or related field.
5 years experience in NLP/NLM roles (e.g., NLP Engineer).
Master’s degree + 3 years in NLP/NLM roles.
2+ yrs in spoken natural language applications; core linguistics.
2+ yrs in rule-based grammars, ML for NLP, and data handling.
2+ yrs in scripting languages and version control.
