Senior Compensation Partner

📋 Description

• Serve as a senior compensation advisor to People BPs, Talent Acquisition, and leaders.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders; influence pay decisions.
• Lead or contribute to compensation program audits and pay equity analyses.
• Administer and improve global compensation programs (reviews, promotions, bonuses, sales).
• Evaluate complex scenarios: leveling disputes, out-of-band offers, retention.
• Use Workday dashboards to monitor program effectiveness and decisions.
• Maintain and evolve GitLab's global job architecture with Total Rewards.
• Promote understanding of GitLab's compensation philosophy across the org.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive progressive global compensation experience in high-growth or SaaS.
• Partner with senior leaders and People BPs to influence pay decisions.
• Administer and improve global compensation programs (reviews, promotions, bonuses, sales).
• Strong analytical skills; build models, market analyses; translate data to narratives.
• Workday compensation experience: cycle management, job profiles, pay ranges, reporting.
• Experience supporting global job architecture and job leveling.
• Strong written and verbal communication; creating training materials and compensation education.
• Support equity plan education with Stock Administration across countries.
