Senior Commercial Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, orders, DPAs, vendor contracts, NDAs.
• Run enterprise deal cycles with GTM and large counterparties.
• Evolve Gamma’s data privacy program.
• Advise Product/Engineering on privacy-by-design, AI compliance (EU AI Act).
• Help build scalable legal processes, playbooks, and templates for B2B motion.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active Bar, California preferred; 4–7 years legal experience.
• Deep SaaS enterprise contract experience negotiating with enterprise customers.
• GDPR/CCPA knowledge; data protection; AI/ML regulatory awareness.
• Comfort working with limited resources; no specialist team needed.
• Sharp judgment and clear communication with sales or engineers.
• Startup experience with cross-border data transfers and SOC 2 exposure (Nice to have).
