Senior Claims Adjuster, Large Loss

📋 Description

• Examine and interpret insureds' policies to determine coverage.
• Apply state statutes, ethics, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Desk review, drafting, adjusting, and approving estimates of damage and loss.
• Use varied investigation methods (statements, experts, documentation).
• Maintain communication with insureds, reps, contractors, and experts.
• Collaborate with public adjusters and attorneys; overtime/weekends for catastrophes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of first-party residential property claims adjusting.
• Experience working directly for an insurance carrier.
• Knowledge of insurance laws and good faith handling in multiple states.
• Experience handling pre-litigation claims (Public Adjuster/Attorney represented preferred).
• Data-driven with analytical approach; comfortable with new tech and numbers.
• Experience in vendor management and related negotiations.
