📋 Description

• End-to-End commodity management: demand to contract.
• Strategic and tactical sourcing execution across the organization.
• Supply base development to meet long-term needs.
• Cost and risk reduction strategy: lower total cost, lead time, and risk.
• Supplier research, RFQs/RFPs, and contract negotiations.
• Integrated sourcing strategy across program, lifecycle, and support.
• Supplier performance management: planning, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
• Supplier development and improvement: lead supplier initiatives.
• Value engineering and cost analysis: BOM cost breakdowns and should-cost.

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years in procurement; 3 years in aerospace/manufacturing.
• BS in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Create/update RFPs, POs, and facilities work orders in ERP software.
• Works effectively in a team.
• Ability to make independent judgments with limited information.
• Strong written and verbal communication with vendors and customers.
• Experience balancing multiple projects in high-stress environments.
• Balances priorities with ambiguous instructions.
• Travel up to 20% of the time.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
