📋 Description

  • Own end-to-end administration of U.S. and Canada benefits and leave programs.
  • Ensure compliance with COBRA, ERISA (U.S.) and ESA/WSIB/EI (Canada).
  • Lead complex leave and accommodation cases (FMLA, ADA, and Canadian equivalents).
  • Manage complex leave, accommodation, and return-to-work cases with People Partners and leaders.
  • Oversee U.S./Canada workers’ compensation programs, including claims management.
  • Drive scalable processes and self-service tools for benefits and leave across the distributed workforce.

🎯 Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of U.S./Canada leave, benefits, and employment laws; apply with sound judgment.
  • Lead high-risk, sensitive leave and accommodation cases end-to-end.
  • Leverage HRIS (ADP, Workday), leave platforms (Unum), and case tools (Asana).
  • Clear, empathetic communicator who guides employees and coaches managers.
  • Build, scale, and improve compliant programs, policies, and workflows.
  • Cross-functional partner who can align teams and manage external vendors.
