Senior Backend Engineer II - AI-Native, Devices Cloud

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for device connectivity and telemetry.
• Leverage AI-native agentic workflows to speed delivery.
• Define and codify AI-native practices for the Devices Cloud team.
• Collaborate with firmware/mobile/product teams to define APIs/workflows.
• Build data pipelines for high-throughput telemetry using Kafka or similar.
• Deliver scalable microservices on AWS (EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS).

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend experience in Java, Go, Python, or similar.
• Hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context management, and function calling.
• A track record of using AI tooling to multiply output.
• Strong experience with microservices, RESTful API design, and distributed systems.
• Solid skills with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), container orchestration, and production deployments.
