Lead major team projects for Remote HR/Payroll products.
Collaborate in cross-team initiatives; propose product solutions.
Work on building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's products.
Maintain domain knowledge of product and engineering.
Mentor engineers, review code, and contribute to the shared codebase.
Debug and solve technical and business issues; participate in RFCs and hiring as needed.

🎯 Requirements

Elixir and Phoenix backend experience.
PostgreSQL or similar databases.
CI/CD with GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
Strong fundamentals: secure, reliable, scalable systems.
Experience designing automation workflows.
Systems thinking: define specs, plan, verify, ensure quality.
