Lead major team projects for Remote's HR and Payroll products.
Participate in cross-team initiatives; provide feedback and solutions using technical insights.
Maintain deep understanding of the team's domain from product and engineering.
Provide feedback on code reviews; contribute to the shared codebase.
Debug and resolve technical and business issues.
Redesign engineering delivery around autonomous agents as default.

🎯 Requirements

Strong engineering fundamentals; shipping secure, reliable, scalable systems.
Experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
Systems thinking: define specs, break down plans, verify results.
PostgreSQL (or similar).
CI/CD experience (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).
Experience with functional languages: Elixir, Erlang, Scala, Clojure, Haskell.
