Lead major team projects for Remote's HR/Payroll products.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams (Frontend, Backend, SRE, QA).
Build tools, APIs, and integrations for the product.
Review code, contribute to the shared codebase, and mentor engineers.
Debug and solve technical and business issues; propose improvements.
Redesign engineering workflows to use autonomous agents as default execution layer.

🎯 Requirements

Strong engineering fundamentals; proven track record shipping secure, reliable systems.
Experience designing/adopting agentic/automation workflows and improving them.
Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, verify, ensure quality.
Postgres (or similar).
CI/CD experience (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).
