Senior Avionics Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Serve as avionics responsible engineer across design, integration, test, launch, ops.
• Define system designs: interfaces, budgets, harnesses, hardware, reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to define requirements and design trades.
• Architect autonomous behaviors, vehicle modes, and fault responses for redundancy.
• Develop system-level test plans for integrated flight hardware and readiness.
• Travel to launch sites or test facilities as needed to support operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in avionics design, analysis, integration, or unit testing.
• Experience with systems engineering principles for spacecraft development.
• Lifecycle development experience for space systems: requirements, integration, validation.
• Experience defining and verifying flight software interfaces.
• Design and testing subsystems: power, GNC, RF, human interfaces.
