Senior Applied Scientist, Operations Research

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end OR/Applied Science use cases from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop algorithms for efficient task assignment to Courier Partners in Logistics.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, design, and analytics in a cross-functional team.
• Apply OR, statistics, and ML methods to optimize operations at scale.
• Leverage Python, SQL, Snowflake, Flyte, MLflow, Seldon Core in production.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in Operations Research and production-level Applied Science projects.
• Deep understanding of OR principles and statistics.
• Strong coding: Python and SQL; databases; C++/Go a plus.
• Experience in logistics, optimization, or OR domains.
• Knowledge of experimental design and A/B testing.
• Analytical, proactive, and able to drive work with stakeholders.
