Senior Analytics Engineer (Operations & Distribution)

📋 Description

• Build and own core operational data models powering DC performance and monitoring.
• Design scalable dbt/SQL transformations for hourly activity and throughput.
• Partner with DC Operations and Customer Experience leaders to translate workflows into data assets.
• Define metrics for operational efficiency, service quality, workforce performance, and fulfillment reliability.
• Ensure pipelines are tested, documented, and production-grade.
• Support modeling efforts like capacity planning, forecasting, and optimization with Data Science.
• Act as a senior technical voice for operational analytics, shaping standards and best practices.
• Operate independently as the primary data infrastructure owner for operational performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or advanced operational analytics.
• Strong SQL and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Hands-on experience with dbt or similar ELT tools.
• Strong data modeling concepts: grain, fact tables, dimensions, schema design.
• Experience with operational, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain data in execution-heavy environments.
• Experience building production-grade data models for monitoring and decision-making.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into structured, measurable metrics.
• Comfort partnering with operational leaders and senior stakeholders.
