Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect product-facing data models in BigQuery powering customer apps.
• Pre-process, ingest, and unify data from APIs and internal/external sources.
• Data validation and QA to ensure zero-downtime, high-fidelity pipelines.
• Develop ELT/ETL pipelines for terabyte-scale data.
• Optimize pipeline performance with SQL tuning in BigQuery and Pinot.
• Champion data governance and CI/CD to ensure production data trustworthiness.
• Collaborate and mentor within a cross-functional team.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or related role.
• Advanced SQL and optimization in multi-terabyte cloud environments (BigQuery, Pinot).
• Data Modeling Mastery for warehouse schemas for analytics and app integration.
• ETL/ELT and orchestration with Airflow; Python for scripting and API work.
• Cloud Data Warehousing with GCP and BigQuery.
• Strong communication to explain complex pipelines to product and software teams.
