Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain data pipelines and models for finance reporting using dbt and Dagster.
• Design and automate financial reporting workflows for accounting, FP&A, and capital markets.
• Collaborate with finance and engineering to translate requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Drive data reconciliation across systems and vendors; implement automated validation checks.
• Develop and maintain financial metrics and dashboards for product and business performance.
• Support capital markets with loan tape generation and lender reporting processes.
• Partner with product, marketing, and operations to deliver data-driven insights for financial projections.
• Champion data quality and documentation; ensure accurate, reliable reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL skills; dbt experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with Snowflake, Dagster/Airflow, Metabase, Amplitude; derive actionable insights.
• Proven ability to build automated reporting to reduce manual work.
• Attention to detail; work with large datasets to uncover patterns.
• Intellectually curious and self-driven.
• Prior finance team experience a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
