Senior Analytics Developer, Brokerage & Ledger Product Data Science

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain analytical data models for brokerage and ledger.
• Own datasets that power client metrics, ops decisions, and regulatory reporting.
• Work with large, complex data sources, making trade-offs explicit for reliability.
• Partner with product, Eng, operations, finance, compliance, and CX to translate needs into data solutions.
• Apply product-minded analytics to design clear, usable, long-lasting datasets.
• Establish and uphold data quality, testing, documentation, and observability standards.
• Use automation and modern tooling to reduce manual work and increase confidence.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to speed up, improve quality, and articulate value.
• Mentor analytics developers through design reviews and coaching.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly so partners know how to use the data.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with large, complex analytical datasets in production.
• Strong SQL skills and experience building analytical models or data marts.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on usability, consistency, ownership.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and translating questions into analytics.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Python, and cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake).
• Experience applying AI tools to analytics or data engineering; explain impact.
• Comfort in regulated or high-stakes environments where correctness matters.
• Experience in financial services, trading, or accounting is a plus but not required.
