Senior AI Software Engineer, Risk - Insurance Claims Management

📋 Description

• Define and drive the long-term roadmap for claims systems.
• Provide architectural leadership across multiple engineering teams.
• Optimize claim workflows with AI automation and tooling.
• Deliver scalable, reliable, well-tested software.
• Align with internal teams and external partners for integrations.
• Lead code/design reviews and on-call incident triage.
• Share knowledge via brown bags and tech talks.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in CS or related field, or relevant experience.
• 6+ years building scalable distributed systems.
• Proven ability to ship end-to-end products with stakeholders.
• Strong tradeoff reasoning in design, architecture, and cost.
• Experience driving AI adoption or automation for efficiency.
• Proficiency in Python; React/Next.js and data analysis a plus.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Airflow and cloud provisioning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Insurance/claims workflow experience a plus.
