Senior AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead LLM-powered app design and development (chatbots, copilots, agents)
• Own and evolve LLM evaluation strategy; design gold datasets and benchmarks
• Diagnose and resolve failures (hallucinations, retrieval issues)
• Optimize latency, cost, scalability, reliability in production
• Mentor junior engineers; promote best practices in LLM dev/eval
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, leadership
• Set standards for responsible AI: safety, bias mitigation, observability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering, ML, and applied AI
• Strong Python fundamentals: testing, modular design, DI
• Track record shipping AI/LLM features end-to-end
• Experience automating tests for non-deterministic systems
• Deep prompt engineering, RAG architectures, retrieval eval
• Data analytics with SQL and visualizations
• Product-minded; solve customer needs
• Tech leadership and mentorship; drive projects to completion
• Clear communication of trade-offs, risks, and system performance
