Senior Aerospace Development Specialist

📋 Description

• Fabricate, inspect, and repair safety-critical composite structures per drawings and specs
• Support development test campaigns from layup through post-cure processing and NDI
• Operate and maintain prototype lab equipment (CNC mills, lathes, routers)
• Collaborate with design to select instrumentation for rotors, blades, and transmissions
• Develop wiring schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and channel lists for tests
• Configure and integrate data acquisition systems and signal conditioning hardware

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years aerospace manufacturing or MRO, with 8+ years on development/prototype programs
• Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, composite ply books, and process specifications
• Experience with data acquisition systems, signal conditioning, and NDI methods
• Ability to read and produce wiring diagrams and instrumentation schematics
• Familiarity with aerospace quality systems (AS9100, FAA Part 21/145 environments)
