Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

📋 Description

• Assist in preparing and filing SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures.
• Manage XBRL tagging and review for SEC compliance.
• Evaluate impact of new US GAAP/SEC standards; draft accounting memoranda.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors; manage PBC schedules.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX 404).

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years accounting experience; Big 4/large regional and corporate SEC experience.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, SEC rules, and financial statement presentation.
• CPA license (active or pursuing); Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.
• Workiva SEC reporting software experience; Oracle ERP a plus.
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables); strong analytical and communication.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
