- Own key monthly, quarterly, and annual close with focus on compensation and personnel accounting.
- Partner with People, Recruiting, and other teams to ensure proper accounting and resolve reconciling differences.
- Perform analytics on financial results to ensure complete and accurate statements.
- Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues promptly.
- Assist with preparation and filing of external financial statements and footnotes (10-Q, 10-K).
- Serve as key contact for year-end audits and quarterly reviews, including internal audit and SOX requests.
π― Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a public company or Big 4, and BS/BA in Accounting.
- CPA-certified (or on track to be certified).
- Strong technical accounting background with US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards.
- Proactive problem-solver with excellent written and oral communication across all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Experience with Netsuite, FloQast, Workiva, and Tableau.
