Senior Accountant (Eastern Time Zone preferred)

📋 Description

• Active involvement in monthly close; prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Focus on Revenue, AR, Customer on Account, and Security Deposits.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve monthly close; optimize ERP.
• Conduct fluctuation and variance analysis with explanations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with annual audits and tax data preparation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (or working towards CPA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience; prior public accounting preferred.
• Big 4 experience in audit or tax and industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills with XLOOKUP, PivotTables, dynamic arrays; Power Query preferred.
