Senior Accountant, Controllership

📋 Description

• Own accounting processes for Brex Card and Spend Management SaaS products.
• Set up reconciliations; drive system improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Support prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, internal use software, cost allocation, international accounting.
• Ensure timely month-end close with journals, reconciliations, and variance analytics.
• Identify and deliver process improvements via cross-functional collaboration.
• Create scalable processes and update process documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• College graduate with a 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3 years of public accounting or private industry experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and address difficult situations professionally.
• Innovative and able to provide outside-the-box solutions.
• Passion for owning responsibilities and for career growth.
• Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems.
• Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
