Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Assist in general ledger management, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Support SOX controls: document/test internal controls and assist with reporting.
• Assist month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and balance sheet review.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports; apply ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including royalty obligations.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and schedules.
• Identify and drive process improvements; leverage AI tooling to strengthen controls.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years accounting; GL, close, reconciliations; public company a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; apply guidance to complex transactions.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Analytical, detail-oriented; communicate complex financial data clearly.
• Ability to work independently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication; collaborate across departments and present to non-accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
