- Prepare journal entries and daily accounting; support month-end close; ensure U.S. GAAP compliance
- Build or enhance balance sheet reconciliations; clean up historical balances
- Collaborate on metrics, forecast, and the monthly reporting package
- Prepare documents for internal and external audits; ensure successful audits
- Support implementing new systems/tools to streamline close and scale processes
- Identify and drive process improvements to shorten close timeline

🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or pursuing one
- 3+ years of accounting experience; Big 4 preferred; startup/public a plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX
- Experience with general ledger functions and month end close
- Experience with financial audit preparation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills
