Assist with research of accounting literature and apply US GAAP to complex transactions
Monitor evolving accounting guidance and assist with implementing new accounting pronouncements
Understand core processes and work cross-functionally to track milestones, projects, and partnerships
Assist with SEC filings (e.g., Form 10-K/10-Q) and other filings
Update financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A using Active Disclosure software
Manage the financial statement tie-out process

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
CPA license (preferred)
3-5 years’ experience, preferably with a background in public accounting
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and financial reporting processes
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others
Ability to travel to New Haven 1x a month
