What you will do:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant that will be responsible for accounting operations for our organization. Their duties will include but not limited to preparing reconciliations, performing month end close procedures, data entry of vendor invoices into our system, maintaining account payable records, and managing the travel and expense platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations for multiple international entities and multiple currencies.
  • Prepare Inter-company Reconciliations for international entities.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Manage employee T&E submission process using Brex.
  • Manage Prepaid Expenses and Fixed Asset processes.
  • Reconcile and post journal entries related to payroll and bonus compensation.
  • Manage the capitalization of deferred contract costs under ASC 606.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, including processing POs and coding vendor invoices in the Coupa AP management system.
  • Manage Accrued Expenses for all entities, including bonus and commissions.
  • Prepare debt and interest journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Assist with year-end financial statement audit and internal control documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in General Accounting
  • 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense Management
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Coupa, and Brex is preferred.

  • This work requires work on the US ET time with some flexibility.
  • Self-Starter and have the ability to challenge the status quo

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
