Security Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security (Staff or Senior)

📋 Description

• Design and build core security primitives and services for Atlas across AWS/Azure/GCP
• Build secure-by-default infra using Linux security (AppArmor/SELinux/seccomp/cgroups), Kubernetes, and eBPF
• Develop APIs/tools to manage security posture at scale (CSPM, vulnerability mgmt) with monitoring via Grafana/Splunk
• Integrate security into CI/CD and IaC workflows (Terraform) so controls are versioned and deployed like code
• Lead end-to-end projects from discovery to implementation, rollout, and ownership
• Collaborate with SRE and product teams to define secure architectures for new infrastructure/services

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or similar roles, preferably with security work
• Proficiency in at least one language (Java, Golang, Rust, Python, or C/C++) and Terraform for automation
• Deep understanding of Linux and networking concepts and their interactions in complex systems
• Experience building security features or platforms such as runtime monitoring, CSPM, or vulnerability management
• Experience with a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security ecosystem (RBAC, OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, eBPF, Falco, Tetragon)
