Security Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security (Staff or Senior)

📋 Description

• Design and build core security primitives and services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Use Linux security modules, Kubernetes, and eBPF to enforce runtime policies.
• Develop APIs and tooling to manage security posture at scale (CSPM, vuln mgmt) and monitoring.
• Integrate security into CI/CD and IaC workflows (Terraform) for versioned deployment.
• Lead complex projects from discovery to rollout and ownership.
• Collaborate with SRE, platform and product teams to define secure architectures.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software or SRE roles, with security experience.
• Proficient in Java, Golang, Rust, Python, or C/C++ and Terraform.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals for complex systems.
• Experience building security features like runtime monitoring, CSPM, or vuln mgmt.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and their security best practices.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and security tooling (RBAC, OPA, Kyverno, eBPF, Falco).
• Systems mindset: consider failure modes, performance, observability, and operability.
• Strong communication to explain security tradeoffs to stakeholders.
