Security Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security (Staff or Senior)

📋 Description

• Design and build core security primitives for Atlas across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Build secure-by-default infra with Linux security, Kubernetes, and eBPF.
• Develop tooling to manage security posture at scale and monitoring pipelines.
• Integrate security into CI/CD and IaC workflows using Terraform.
• Lead end-to-end security projects from discovery to rollout.
• Collaborate with SRE, platform and product teams to define secure architectures.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Software Eng, SRE, or similar roles, esp. security.
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, Rust, Python, or C/C++ and Terraform.
• Deep Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with runtime monitoring, CSPM, or vulnerability mgmt.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure security best practices.
• Hands-on Kubernetes security: RBAC, OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, eBPF.
• Systems mindset: failure modes, performance, observability, operability.
• Strong communication for explaining security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
