Security Shift Supervisor - Corporate Office Building - Mundelein, IL

📋 Description

• Supervise operations at an assigned client site on shift.
• Report to Site Supervisor/Director and Titan Management.
• Lead security officers; assist with scheduling, payroll, training, and coaching.
• Ensure high quality security services protect people and property.
• Handle escalated security issues and emergencies.
• Develop staff skills through performance management and coaching.
• Foster a respectful work environment for staff.
• Assist in on-the-job and client-specific training per Titan standards.
• Reconcile logs and patrols; review incident reports and assist investigations.
• Develop and maintain post orders and procedures for emergencies.
• Train and qualify for posts; follow post instructions.
• Maintain access control procedures per building management.
• Operate access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems.
• Identify tenants and visitors on arrival.
• Ensure visitors/vendors sign in before entry.
• Observe departures to prevent theft.
• Monitor facility security cameras.
• Respond to incidents and property emergencies.
• Conduct general patrols across the property in all conditions.
• Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods.
• Assist tenants and visitors with directions and info.
• Record property damage and unusual occurrences clearly.
• Keep clear logs for people and property.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of continuous supervisory experience.
• Education: HS diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3 years as security officer or related.
• Valid security license as required by state; driver's license.
• English required; bilingual a plus.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be at least 18.
• Physical demands: Stand/walk for extended periods.
